Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Lorena received her law degree at the age of twenty-two. She attended the prestigious Federal University of Rio de Janeiro graduating 6 months earlier than the typical law school program because of her dedication and focus. She moved to the Big Island in August 2011 to marry the love of her life.
Lorena began her working career here in Hawaii as a Personal Concierge for a Property Management Company dealing with homes and homeowners in Hualalai, Kukio, and Mauna Lani During these two years, she had the privilege of greeting many clients coming to paradise and also assisting them to experience the best of the Big Island. Her goal was to provide excellent service for world travelers who expect perfection.
Extensively exploring the Big Island in this capacity has resulted in a deep love for this place and motivated her to get her Hawaii Real Estate License in 2015. Since then she has helped both Buyers and Sellers to achieve their real estate goals and beyond. Since receiving her license, her field of expertise has expanded to the Luxury Vacation Rental niche. For the last 6 years, she has been the head of Luxury Vacation Rentals for Iokua Real Estate.
Lorena's law background, extensive knowledge about all Resort communities on the “Gold Coast”, and experience in the property management and luxury vacation rental market have combined to give her skills in organization, attention to detail, flexibility, and an uncanny ability to understand and please her clients. A course in design has also added to her ability to be an excellent resource when needed.
Lorena is extremely interested in traveling and different cultures. Always excited by the arts, she takes great pleasure in converting ordinary objects into art pieces. She is fascinated by the Hawaiian culture and our multifaceted Big Island. Her hobbies include exploring the hidden treasures of the Big Island, enjoying her French Bulldog puppy Nanea, reading, and trips to the beach.
