Aloha,

 

I was born and raised in Pepeekeo, when Sugar was King. In my youth, I was an avid boy scout - even obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 21 - Papaikou Hongwanji. I am a 1980 Hilo High School, and 1985 UH Manoa graduate (BBA- Marketing) and have lived on the Big Island 53 of the last 58 years (yes I'm old). I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 31 years (my greatest accomplishment) and have 2 grown sons (my pride and joy). I have lived in many places including Albany, NY, Salt Lake City, UT, Inglewood, CA, and Honolulu; but I always knew I'd return to raise a family here. The Big Island - it's my home, where my friends and family live. There is a strong connection to the land (aina) and a stronger connection to family (ohana).

 

I first ventured into real estate when I bought my first home in Wainaku with very few resources (it was an empowering experience). I still have that house - that was 30 years ago. I am a licensed contractor and have been in the construction industry for over 30 years - specializing in remodeling and renovations for the past 25 years. I've seen the construction and real estate industry from both sides and look forward to helping my clients achieve their real estate goals with a unique perspective.
